Blanket Creek Provincial Park
25 km south of Revelstoke on Hwy 23,
The campground contains 64 vehicle accessible sites, 5 of these are doubles. There are no pull through sites or tent pads but tents can be placed on the campsite gravel pad. Many of the sites are considered large and can accommodate extra vehicles. The campground offers a selection of both open/sunny sites or wooded/shaded sites in a mixed smaller forest of white pine, cedar and hemlock.
Bugaboo Provincial Park
10 km north of the town of Golden
There is group camping allowed in the Conrad Kain Hut . Practice a no trace visit. Do not leave food or garbage in the hut. .
Drewry Point Provincial Park
32 km south of Balfour
There are two wilderness/walk-in campsites with limited facilities at this park. There is no fee to camp/use this park.
Dry Gulch Provincial Park

There are 26 campsites at this park which are divided into two loops. There are no drive-through sites. The majority of the sites accommodate large recreational vehicles and there are approximately 8 sites that have tent pads.
Elk Lakes Provincial Park
47 kilometres north of Elkford the road crosses the Elk River and joins the Kananaskis Power Line Road. It is 5.8 kilometres from the crossing to the Cadorna Creek trailhead; the Elk Lakes trailhead is a further 16.1 kilometres.
Camping is permitted in five separate areas, and interesting hiking trails connect Elk Lakes with the adjoining Peter Lougheed Provincial Park in Alberta.
Height of the Rockies Provincial Park
Windermere
Height of the Rockies park is adjacent to Banff National Park, Elk Lakes Park, and Peter Lougheed Park in Alberta. There are six major trailheads accessible by summer logging roads.
There are wilderness campsites, but no facilities are provided.
Jimsmith Lake Provincial Park
Access the park from Hwy 3/95 at the south side of Cranbrook, then drive west 4 km on a paved secondary road to the park entrance.
This park offers vehicle accessible campsites on a first-come, first-served basis - campsite reservations are not accepted.
Kikomun Creek Provincial Park
From the east, turn off Hwy 3, 3 kms west of Hwy 3/93 junction at Elko, the park entrance is 8 kms west. From the west, turn off Hwy 3 at Jaffray, the park is located 16 kms south.
This park offers vehicle accessible campsites. Campsite reservations are accepted and first-come, first-served sites are also available.
Kootenay National Park
Castle Junction in Banff National Park (via Highway 93 South - the Kootenay Parkway) or Golden (via Highway 95); or from the south via Highway 93/95. The closest full service towns are Radium Hot Springs, just outside the park's West Gate, and Banff, 33 km east of the park's north entrance.
Parks Canada operates all campgrounds in Kootenay National Park (a total of 4). Campgrounds in Kootenay National Park operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 431 campsites available in Kootenay National Park during peak season with a variety of services. Serviced (hook up) campsites are available at Redstreak Campground only.
Lockhart Creek Provincial Park
On the east side of Kootenay Lake, Lockhart Creek Provincial Park is located 40 km north of Creston off Highway 3A.
Wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed, but no facilities are provided.
Martha Creek Provincial Park
Located in the southern interior of BC, on the western shore of the Revelstoke reservoir, a 15 min drive, 20 km north of Revelstoke on Highway 23 .
Martha Creek Park has one completely paved campground shaped like an "L". The second group of sites is on the reservoir and has spectacular lake views and beach access. The campground hosts 25 vehicle accessible, small to large, including 10 doubles and 2 pull-through sites. Three of these sites have tent pads.
Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park
The most popular hiking trails to the core area of the park start from Kootenay National Park to the west, and from Spray Lakes via Bryant Creek (Banff National Park) located south of Canmore, from Sunshine Meadows west of the Banff townsite, in Banff National Park, Alberta.
There are approximately 75 wilderness, walk-in campsites in this park.
Pilot Bay Marine Provincial Park
Off Hwy 3A, Balfour BC; a 10 minute drive south of Kootenay Bay ferry terminal. The closest community is Crawford Bay.
There are wilderness/ walk-in campsite in the park, but no facilities are provided. This park is user-maintained and you must pack out what you pack in.
Premier Lake Provincial Park
Access is from Highway 93/95, 72 km north of Cranbrook. The smaller communities of Skookumchuck - 12km south and Wasa 16km further south are nearest the park.
The campground has vehicle accessible sites. Campsite reservations are accepted and first-come, first-served sites are also available. During the winter, campers are permitted to camp in the campground areas if accessible.
St. Mary's Alpine Provincial Park
Between Kimberley and the town of St. Mary's
Back country camping is allowed in the park
Stagleap Provincial Park
34km West of Creston on Hwy #3. The closest communities are Salmo and Creston.
There are wilderness campsites at this park.
Top of the World Provincial Park
Wasa 48 kilometres northeast of the village of Kimberley
At Fish Lake there is a public cabin with a woodstove and firewood accommodating 20 people and 16 tent pad lakeside sites; 12 of these have fire pits. Coyote Creek camping area will accommodate 12 people. All are available for overnight use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wasa Lake Provincial Park
Kimberley located 35 north west and Cranbrook located 40 south of Wasa Lake.
The campsites accommodate both long recreation vehicles and tents. There are no drive-through sites. Information/interpretive shelters and telephone are located at the entrance to the campground. Campsite reservations are accepted and first-come, first-served sites are also available.
Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park
East of Canal Flats which which is 22 km south of the park and is the nearest community
There are 114 campsites located at five campgrounds: Alces Lake (28 campsites) at km 21 offers sunny lakefront campsites; Packrat Point (16 campsites) at km 24 and Inlet Creek (16 campsites)
Yahk Provincial Park
Yahk Provincial Park is located along Highway 3/95, 70 kms south of Cranbrook, 14.5 km north of the U.S. and Canadian borders at Kingsgate. Yahk Park is located on the south edge of the small community of Yahk.
The park offers 26 vehicle accessible campsites. For tenters, four of these campsites (sites 3, 6, 15, 24) have sand filled tent pads. The campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis - campsite reservations are not accepted.
Yoho National Park
The town of Field is located in the park and provides basic services.
There are 297 sites available in Yoho National Park during peak season with a variety of services.
